INTRODUCTION

hey peeps! Made a quick start with the character with some sketching, there's probably a ton of details that will change, but I had to start somewhere

background info: Ymmekine is a spice mercenary, protecting merchants and getting paid in various body-enhancing spices, used as a resource in the various little wars between the tribes inhabiting the environs of the Spice Road. She dreams of owning her own Karavaan one day, trading bags of spices instead of the small vials she hoards every day.

I enjoy writing little bits of lore that come with developing a character, and since spices are playing a big role here I tried to come up with some system for the magical foodstuffs.

Some of the uses are based on actual history , such as Gember (Ginger) used as a cure for basically ANYTHING back in the day. I'll probably draw up some comic panels at some point where Ymmekine is shown using the spices. The spices also change the physical appearance of the user, probably going for blue eyes when Salie is used.
THE SPICE MUST FLOW!

Cheers, thanks for the kind words! Blue eyes would be cool, but I'm reserving that effect for the spices; changing the physical appearance when a battle gets serious and a lot of the foodstuffs are consumed!
