Hope I'm not too late to the party...er battle? Here are some late night sketches. I'm designing a character heavily influenced by Aztec culture and design. I'm terrible with names so I don't have a character or deity name yet, but will soon. The basics of the character is that he worships a sun god that has blessed him with the ability to heal others or the ability to scorch enemies with solar rays. I'm thinking I want this ability to be harnessed through a staff of some sort.
As far as design my goal is to keep armor bits stony and hard edge. Anything else will be from animals such as feathers or jaguar pelts. I also want to include animals in the design of the armor and staff.
