Nice idea, firefoxes deserve some love My vote for character and illustration goes to D (maybe with short hair?) and C respectively. I like the belts and the fabric pieces on D, as for the illustration, I feel like C invoques the most strength and superiority over her enemies.

Yes, I like D as well...but like you mentionned we have to show the WAR part of this...

And why not seeing the firefox jumping with her through the forest (while she is waving or turning around her spear slashing some foes ?) or whatever place you prefer ?
That could be nice ? (maybe a bit complicated)

Well Meh could work but it's a very complexe shot and I don't have the skills for it yet, same for you're suggestion, maybe one day!

She looks like an amazon warrior and they heavily interact with nature, so try adding greens to the clothing

I agree with tbrk about the greens. Related to that - you could also try adding some color accents on her as she feels a bit monochromatic.
