Alright! That's it! I think I got something I really like, at first I was going for a classic green forest but I realized their color scheme were perfect for an automn settings
And if you like it then I'm gonna start doing a clean version, with proper anatomy for everyone ! XD

Yeah it would have been hard to do, and here it highlight the character well, she's still in "camouflage" mode, but we can still see her and understand what's going on
And there's gonna be more foliage of course to hide her, to explain why the foreground character didn't see her before, cause right now she's a little too obvious xD

That's it ! Character design complete! Front/Back and Spear!
I'll put that in the square format later, we have still quite some time (I'll try not to forget to do it xD ) and go on to the illustration now!!

Totally get the feeling of "not making (clear) progress"...we probably don't have enough distance with our own work.

Also I really enjoy your last painting...just not sure if your character is really the main point...
I have a little concern about the red fox which is not menacing haha (he's doing a nap or something ? ^^)

But I have no doubts you'll get where you want with this.
I clearly see (and others of course) that your brain is pretty active trying to illustrate the best you can Déjhanäé ^^

Yes it's exactly that, since we're seeing our work all the time we don't see the changes and improvement, that' why it's nice to have objective eyes that tell you these

Totally get that and all above xD (mine is cute as well, but almost invisble for human eyes (1millimeter lol))
