What makes a hero if not they story and their's heroic acts? Joan D'Arc Is one of the most famous heroes of our history. I want to rapresent her as a warrior, a paladin that inspires the army and lead them to Victory.

Welcome to ArtWar you've chosen some pretty fun subject matter, I look forward to seeing how you develop it.
Thank you. I hope that this will not be seen as a Fanart but more as an interpretation of the Hero.
I'm not the 300 sketches type of artist. Usually I pretty much know in which direction I want to go and during my drawing I experiment different combination.
I searched for references for armors of that period. Most of my references are historycal but also I wanted to incorporate some fantasy elements. I want to create an elaborate armor but still keeping it simple. I want to give the gown and the cape a big movement just to spice the image a little bit. I'm still working of the final idea but this is pretty close ad far as lines go.
If you have any suggestions please let me know.
Ps: I'm not really going for a realistic anatomy here, as you can see by the long neck and long legs.
