Well, let's get started. I already have an idea. It remains only to implement =). Keeper of the forest. He communicates with the spirits, monitors the balance and severely punishes anyone who disrespects nature.

The spear is an awesome idea, and the 1st and 3rd heads are really cool (the other two remind me of Ivern from LoL so there's that :smiley: )

Well I already did a woman for the contest.
But she is not very kind...on a berserker level (and undead).

Although I also like to do robots...but I need really more practice on them.

Oh I do robots...it's just in comparison of many here...they are bad (like anything I do anyways ^^').
But if you don't try more, you never know, right ?

I love the feel of the character shapes, but none of them really hit home. I agree with others that the spear does seem to be the most interesting inclusion, and I especially like that ones face for some reason, but the body just doesn't seem to flow with "I got a spear stuck in my but tis just a flesh wound."

Anyways, loving it. Let's see some more!

Very nice sketches, i like 3rd one the most. A kind of forest dwarf, small, but nimble and tough. Perfect defender of his land.
To be honest, the later design of a druid-like female seem more generic. It's something i've seen before. Don't get me wrong, she's also very well designed and looks awesome, but in terms of originality, the previous sketches win.

You're absolutely right. But this is a contest and you need to draw a character to win. And usually quite simple characters win and more often female ones.

Don't get me wrong I totally get your statement about winning and all...but some of us are also here for sharing stuffs/ideas etc, encouraging others and improving.

Some of us know we have almost 0 chances to be on the podium (because of skills/experiences a bit low etc)...or even to be in the 50th first.
But we are still here because Art War (friends and other stuffs too) is keeping us motivated.

Although...I think you're right about the second sentence ^^'
So...should we all quit (or start again from scratch ?) if we don't have a female for the contest ?

It's all good...my deep apologizes for my previous comment if it was making you unconfortable with...
I'm just totally unsure what to do with all the ideas & stuffs I have in my head, but can't really put on paper (well, screen) properly...

Your illustration is looking good !
Just curious if you're going to add something on the left corner or you don't really know yet ?
Branches coming from underground and/or fairies, sparkles or something ? Or foes ? (but maybe that's too much to let the image breath ?)
Excuse my curiosity...
