Seria is a Valkyrie paralyzed after a plunge into an abyss along with her latest kill, a dark dragon. The entropic depths bound the serpent's bones and soul to hers granting her movement and the dragon's dark powers.

While considered a hero character, Seria often walks the thin line between hero and villain, so... antihero.

A more refined set of sketches, I'm starting to explore armor designs here. I plan to experiment with adding wings to this design as well. I've seen many Valkyries with wings and I think it would make sense to further sell the dragon aesthetic.

You've got some good ideas, but I would highly recommend reworking your proportions. Try reducing the size of the head slightly and lengthening the limbs quite a bit.

So far my vote would be to go with the 2nd or 3rd in the top row. There's a lot you could do with that design, especially the Egyptian neck piece. :+1:

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

@glubglubz, I will consider those earlier thumbnails to see if I can make them work in my current iterations. I will definitely do a proper anatomy+proportion pass before the final concept. Thank you for the feedback.

Looking through your images, the ones where it appears as if the dragon was smashed into her might best sell the story. The heads with the broken dragon jaw are great. And the ones with the linked spinal cord, really dig those.

Try adding some strong highlights in the blood to really sell the liquid-ness of it.
