Here i created some thumbnails ideas, mostly focusing on shape, then quick sketch on top of chosen one to find proportions. At this point i didnt really know what kind of gender my hero will have :smile:

Here is my progress so far. I'm really sorry for not posting earlier but I was a bit afraid of posting only thumbnails >.< In next post i will add grayscale to accentuate form and emphasise this storm cloud armor that right now is shown as this curly line around his arms and legs :wink:

I like where the middle design is going, the guards around his ankles especially.
The idea of the armour containing the storm clouds is awesome, but i'd try shifting both of the outwards so the don't block the silhouette of the head.

So I had a little brake but I'm back with some more concepts. To be honest I felt kinda stuck and couldn't move on but after a few trys I decided to give up on so strict sketch. I realize I was creating a lot of not really meaningfull details and concept "flow" was unsettled. Definitly felt better and more ideas come to mind so I'm kinda relieved. Readibility suffered a bit so feel free to ask I propably will come back tommorow with more refine concepts :)

Stuck again I tried @tck suggestion to change silhouette in order to show his head off I compered favorite from yesterday and find out that It look more like villan XD (no.5) after that I experiment a bit I think I found right upper design but still struggle with legs. I tried to add cloud but its not cleary visible so propably i will stay with regular armor ;/

Today I had a feeling I should start all over. The steps I've been doing are all over the place and I felt discourage but I bite the bullet and try to progress. After all my character finaly have an expression that should say (I hope) I'm totall badass so powerfull that I dont give a fuck xd anyway still a lot to work on happy that we have extra week.

yeah dude, proportions on the side view look great, I'd say he looks like his arms are too short on the front view though, his hands should definitely be falling past his hips.

I think I like the big cloud shoulders with lightning more than the cyclones, just a preference thing. Keep at it!
