Don't hesitate to push your values and sharpen them. You'll gain a lot of time doing this.For the colour scheme i've bet (5€) on a brilliant sunset, lonesome cowboy style, with subsurface scattering on his frill.
Haha and the money goes to @innocent ! and thanks for the tip, I'm still working veery messy according to me it's just the base and then I'll detail everything but you are right, it would be better from the get go.
