Tattoo design embraces the cultural background of my hero it's loosely based off the only known image of male tatatau (Tongan Polynesian tattoo) before the country of Tonga was converted to Christianity and the art was banned. Tonga also has ancient stone structures one such called the Ha'amonga a Maui is in recognition of the demi god Maui Tonga is said to be one of the last places he visited... Being of Tongan heritage I am influence d greatly on ancient Polynesian mythology and the courage our ancestors showed to navigate easily the largest body of ocean on our planet.
