First thoughts: An evil queen in the candle kingdom, who sitting on the wax throne and had a fire sword, which burns the hearths of the knights form her army to fight for the queen. Her main abilities to summon and create this warriors. Souls of that who fallen are lives in her wax throne. Red Knights are kings from the captured lands, who serve her being a generalf of her army. She smart and heartless.

Let's see if I can help you choose a bit, I like A, B and D on the first row, and B1, D1 and I like C1 but it feels a bit too much on the head

I like the gladiator vibe from C and the baroque style from B and C1, to my mind those last two feet your concept the best.
E, D1, A and A1 feel like underwater designs. B1, D1, D, E1 are nice but more generic.
I guess you will find a balance when you will add the fire sword.

Something about the body of C1 speaks to me, i feel like its overall the most unique out of the group. The hip ornaments are a distinct feature of C1 that make her a ‘character’ in a sense.

Your sketching is very legible! I like it.

Am here again after a long vacation! And ready to post some new stuff! (internet connection in vacation was terrible - so at last I can upload all of the colour sketches!

My fave is the 2nd image's c1 but the last image's sword with the wiggly end is pretty cool so maybe mix and match?
