so a bit of change of plan on the call outs, i wanted to move to the composition shots first because im a bit rusty when it comes to them, so let me know which one works best for my illustration going forward, also thank you to everyone who gave me feedback on the last post, i ended up deciding the purple one going forward, seemed like the right pick i might touch up some things here and there for continuity sake
Nice and natural stances, simple and smart scenery.
4, Because knuckles cracking is way too badass. Unfortunately she doesn't show any super. power.
1 is super fresh too, same remark about the superpower. Might be better with an enemy at the end of the spear.
5 is neat, again. This time she's flying, so using a superpower, and you can play a lot with the cityscape. I would either shrink the character or change the format so she isn't constrained by the frame.
Cheers.
I second everything @innocent said!
You did a great job on these
thanks for the feedback! I might tweak around a bit with #4 to show some type of superpower going on as @mr_dessin gave the idea becuase i agree it is a pretty badass pose going on would be a shame for it to fall short
setting up the the layout for the concept page, its still in wip but this is the general layout of how i want to present the character, currently im about to work on back of the character color and the character render to get everything set up to finish the first part of the contest and then move on to the illustration and spend most of the next couple weeks working on that, so excited for how its been coming out :D
5 is really cool, it tells a story that matches your concept, an angel in an environment she doesn't fully belong to, she's visually surrounded by the city yet still maintains a distance with it. Your story has allows a lot of option in terms of composition storytelling, there's a duality to your character, she's not from here, yet she's been deeply transformed by her environment.
