Welcome to the contest!
Have fun and good luck! Curious to see what you're gonna do !

Cool idea! Eager to see how it plays out.

Nice work! Do you have a preference already ? Or for the moment you're just putting ideas on paper?

just putting ideas down on paper, im going to explore more ideas on a wide scale for one or two more pages, then explore more narrowly on a direction after that.

Great! Can't wait to see that!

Nice ! I really like the one on the left, she looks so badass

Yeah, gotta agree with rgdraw, that one on the left is pretty cool. I also dig the one in the middle, but that might not fit the cyber punk theme quite enough, thats more of just a normal street outfit combined with some tech angel.

true true, i had a pattern idea that was going more the CP later on and explore more of a hip thuggish look but from a pure linework perspective it falls a bit short, so thanks for the feedback on that!

so i scrapped the last page and i started to narrow down the ones i enjoyed and tweaked them up a bit for more or less, still actively working on this page still so it subject to change in the future but im enjoying the direction its taking

Still a big fan of the big left one, but I really like bottom right one, I guess I have a thing for ladies with wings and big weapon x)

And I forgot to say it but great work so far, all of these looks amazing

Thank you!

Like the bottom right as well as that left one. I think its the addition of the popped/fluffy collar that sells the hip thug aspect.

It really leaves the one on the left feeling really unnatural in the middle (not a bad thing). Its a fun jarring effect that will elicit a double take.

Really like a lot the bottom right one too!

It's probably the most appealing, but the one on the left does look a lot more hardend thug-ish. The furr does make her wings less readable though.

Maybe integrate some furr and keep the weapon of the left one into the bottom right corner one?

so i fixed up the middle two abit and explored both of them in a exaggerated way, for the top one he's sapose to be on the full thug criminal route with guns and illegal tech and the bottom one is going more on the Greek angel side with some tech enhancements. As for the ones before, the left on took a back seat a bit, just little changes here and there, and same goes for the one on the right except i explored a bit more with fur coat idea and weapon a bit on the small thumbnails. Let me know your thoughts down below!

went ahead and just decide to pick the character on left and update and clean up some linework, probably tomorow or sunday i'll be moving to ethier the back of the character or color comps

Great choice!
Well, they were all great so you couldn't go wrong, can't wait to see the next steps now!

Spent my sunday and Monday with these color comps, pretty confident in all of them but im probably going to spend tommorow ethier working on the back of the character, call outs and abilities and then choose one sometime in between!

All are very nice. Are you leaning toward the large study on the left? I do like that one best.

Thank you :D, im a bit split on the one on the left, im looking more at the more colorful ones because they have more of that cyber punk vibe to them because of the bright neon colors they have on them

2 cents  - the red one has the strongest villain vibe, followed by the pink/purple one (which is the most cyberpunky. The dark blue feels a bit subdued compared to the other ones. The left/big one is the most balanced (and can be portrayed as a villain).
All are pretty awesome!

Nice process so far!
For the colors those 2 brightest ones look like heroes, not villains tbh.

Like @innocent said! It's a great one!
I really love the black and white and gold on the left too, looks like a legendary skin to unlock later in the game

@sparksofdawn @innocent @rgdraw Thanks for the feedback  Im mostly likely going to go with the pink one because it has most of the elements you guys have been pointing out
@seekula the ones in the most white i wanted to capture more of the angel feel to the character with a bit of attitude, but since those kinda fall short on the direction of cyberpunk and villain as well, those were just kind of ideas up in the air, thanks for the feedback though!

I really like the one on the left but I'm also feeling the blue one on the bottom left! Maybe popping some of those colors a little more to the green side might make her feel more like a villain. I think the red one fits the stereotypical villain feel, if that's what you're going for though.

Little bit late for the comment, but yeah, gotta dig the pink/purple one, much more punk than the white ones which read as more noble.

so a bit of change of plan on the call outs, i wanted to move to the composition shots first because im a bit rusty when it comes to them, so let me know which one works best for my illustration going forward, also thank you to everyone who gave me feedback on the last post, i ended up deciding the purple one going forward, seemed like the right pick i might touch up some things here and there for continuity sake

Nice and natural stances, simple and smart scenery.
4, Because knuckles cracking is way too badass. Unfortunately she doesn't show any super. power.
1 is super fresh too, same remark about the superpower. Might be better with an enemy at the end of the spear.
5 is neat, again. This time she's flying, so using a superpower, and you can play a lot with the cityscape. I would either shrink the character or change the format so she isn't constrained by the frame.
Cheers.

Who knows maybe her wings could have superpowers : D (on 4th scenery, they already are glowy ^^ (at the tip), maybe they could electrocute or something ?).
6 could be interesting too !

thanks for the feedback! I might tweak around a bit with #4 to show some type of superpower going on as @mr_dessin gave the idea becuase i agree it is a pretty badass pose going on would be a shame for it to fall short

Your compositions so cool! Most of all I like 2 and 3 ^-^

I like 3 and 5
Maybe have her raining some fire over the enemy?
even though flying is technically already a power

Love your comps! <3 Best of luck

so bit of a busy day today, i was able to clear up the line work completely for the front of the character and start some progress on the back, also i was able to crunch in some vfx for the character so i can tweak or make some new compositions for the illustration
