im BEING decisive! And I’m Going to Be CONFIDENT! I’m going to work on my Illustration, Not going overboard with concepts that don’t match up. I’m going to go for something easy to understand at a glance, Evil guy with Ice dragon. Seems fair to me.

Nice thought !
Being confident (in his skills, lines, painting etc...) is the hardest part of every artist...I guess ? Especially when many of us is saying is input haha - it's nice but sometimes/often it's overwhelming, a lot...

And when you try to convince everyone you understand their thoughts...well... you're going in every possible directions; means...nowhere ? xD

My ADD is in full swing, so I kind of did a rough visualization of what the colors for this could look like. Of course, Still in the linewrok phase, but i need to give myself something to think about in the meantime.

Usually people listen to epic music while they’re drawing epic illustrations, but “I’ve got a Dream” From tangled has been jammed in my head.
Seems appropriate for this contest’s villains.

working on the concept sheet for a change, I feel like my fatal flaw is working on the final illustration while totally half assing the concept sheet, so for once, i’m going to. Not do that.

Color test For Concept sheet! I wanted to see if he’d still look evil even with a lighter color pallet. IMO, i feel like shape language is a bigger element in villains.

i can get out all of my insufferable need to experimental paint on the concept sheet, so I don’t have to make atrocities on my final illustration. Anyway, here’s another WiP of the concept sheet.
