New year, new Illustration. Long sigh Now, I have been working on these two simultaneously, because i’m having a hell of a time making his power ‘obvious’ in my original illustration. (In the original, he’s kind of like a tailor in a sense, he dwells in the underworld, and patches deceased bodies back together to create more demons.)
Under normal circumstances, I would go through with the completion of the image, however, given the criteria, I don’t want to hurt my chances if I do Crosses fingers happen to make it this year.
So in the new illustration, I decided to go as obvious as I could go, and have him summon demon creatures from the fog/smoke coming from his fancy skull arm.
The’re both at the same stage of completion, I am just wanting some outside advice before I go through with finishing either one of them.
EDIT: I talked with a friend of mine, and i’m probably going to stick with the original, but make some more harmonizing changes to certain elements of the picture, however, Any opinions are welcome regardless!
