Very nice that you made a good attempt at this!
I like him, reminds me of the old transformers cartoons, some things to focus on, would be believability and function.
Those tiny legs make it hard for this bad boi to move around, so maybe instead he would have treads.
Why does he have a head with eyes? Can make him look like a surveillance head with a lense to make him seem more robotic 
Love the height chart in the corner, but easiest thing is to stick a human in there for reference :P.
Perspective on the back view is a bit funky, but with some practice you will make him quite good. So keep it up!

I agree with the movement aspects but, Since I thought of it as a long range villain Support defense Buster I thought it would be fitting to be slow. If I did treads or flying it would be like a moving cube which is I think is pretty boring.
My thoughts on the eye was, it's eyes were just cosmetic, the actual eye is in the black piece of the head holds that Actual Eye optics. At first I thought of what you thought but I thought it wouldn't look as evil enough so I added a fake face. I just had no time to make a more detailed concept sheet.
Also yeah I will do my best!!
