My heroes superpower is making enemies her puppets with melody from her flute. She is a villain, cause no good hero should possess such power. Despite her deceiving look she is also quite deadly with her Rapier.
I want to show in my artwork how she mind controls them, and those who resist over go agony until they give up and become her human - puppets. Yet capture her grace.
The inspiration for her outfit will be the decorative style - rococo, and as it is common with it, the armor is gonna be asymmetrical, and decorative.

I was wondering whether the hands with the strings would be "her hands" but bigger or whether they would be sort of more strong masterful looking hands?

So I have added some base values, really eager to jump in and start painting it. I really want small contrast for the hands above, so they don't draw too much attention. And I also kinda like the dark background shooting through the main character, I'm considering keeping it till the end.

Looking pretty cool! I'm really enjoying the mood of your piece, the highlights on her seem to be working well and it's got a great dreamlike quality to it, which seems very fitting with her abilities.
I think maybe you should have a little look at the leg positioning though, something seems a bit off there. It's not that clear which leg is taking the weight of her body as both her feet seem to be on tiptoe.
