Haha yes. I've been in awe of his work lately and wanted to try a similar style with my own work
Did some further designs for my villain and started to think about the final illustration. Thought I'd also give a bit of a description of the character so you guys can see where I'm going with this.
This tyrant of an empress has come to power through the use of her ability to control shadows. She is able to teleport by using the shadows as a gate and can also form creatures out of the shadows. With an army that she created overthrowing the previous ruler was easy and now the people are kept at bay through violence and fear.
terrifying but I love the mood! can't wait to see where it goes!
@rabbitsleuths Thanks! Wanted to do something spooky for a change Just been trying some more ideas for the illustration. Might be a bit messy but I hope you guys can see whats going on.
Some more development. Managed to get a base front and back view. Just need polish it up a bit further and then I can start the illustration.
Finally starting the illustration, also decided to design the shadow creatures a bit further.
Current WIP. Would appreciate some feedback on anything I could improve on as I go forward
Going to call this about done I think. Nearly finished, just need to do the concept sheet and then i'll be there!
