Hi, everybody!
I would like to create a Mummy.

It will be a noble Mummy. When she was alive, my Mummy was a woman who practised magic experiment. Only between us, her magic activity was a little bit illegal and dangerous...
Аfter unexpected tragical death her sinful soul did not find sanctuary and returned to the mummified body to enslave human race.
What is her superpower? Except of her strong magic abilities, she operates her bandages skilfully and uses them as additional limbs to move quick and quiet and, of course, to fight.
Be very carefull if you meet her!

In my opinion, my first steps in the process of creating 3D model always look awkward and I feel ashamed of them. Because of it usually I don't show them to anyone. However, I suppose for me the main bonus of the competition is to absorb new knowledge and to receipt new experience. It is a good chance to share my methods and to get new creative techniques...So I promise to publish more stages and describe what was done and what I plan to do next.
In the beginning I made a simple blockout. It helps me to understand shape of the character.

Quick update.
Now I am adding some details. I decided to start from the head because the head is one of main shapes and it will set future look of my character.
To tell the truth I have some doubts about snakes on the shoulders and knees…I would like “shoulder and knee snakes” look differently than the “head snake”. But I looked up and down Pinterest and cannot find good snakes .
Do you have any idea how to do it? Probably, Is snakes everywhere not good decision?
I will be really grateful for your opinions!
