Hi everyone!
Choosed the villain side, with a character that's like a Dark Magician.
She's a warrior queen of another planet currently fighting a civil war trying to defend her evil empire!
She use her magic power to fly and shoots fireballs!

Here we go, that's her face, maybe I will work more on that later.
Now I should work on her body and proportions!

UPDATE background story: She's a warrior queen of another planet in the space and all the inhabitants of this planet are mutants. She's currently fighting a civil war with her spear! She can fly, that's one of her powers, she has mutant bee wings on her back, they're part of her body!

Ok that was a very busy week, university takes me a lot of time, so I can work only on my free time, at the end of the day with my last energies D:
I blocked out the entire body, wings, and antennae, now I'm thinking about her assets and cloth

Yea designing is tough (takes the most time for this) when you concentrate more on the 3D stuff.

If we had more time i'd like it, but otherwise tight deadline can't really do much sometimes.

Pretty coo idea, have you looked around for any references in regard to a queen bee type design? think there might be some on pinterest/artstation/i'd even jump on google images, type concept queen bee female. (i haven't)

I like the hood addition, face looks nice, no queen bee butt ? I figured for me that was missing, you don't have to add it i was poking fun at the difference between her and a queen bee. (being playful / humorous.)

Haha! Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it, it makes me feel less alone in this post! I'm seeing from various references, so I hope to find the right way for her design by the end of the week!

No problem, i feel like in half of these i am the only one being social to most contestants (granted time is money and all that jazz...) and most i suppose tend to not want to waste it, so i guess that is an excuse.

But yea, maybe everyone is just working on there stuff, or selectively participating in the "community", aspect of the rules.

Liking the main body quite a lot, have you thought of tweaking the wings to be larger? If I were to look at her like she was a Dragon fly, then her wings seem a tad bit small a bit of adjustments should bring out the "weight " she has.

Ok great news! I changed her design and her backstory .. again!
That's her final design, I decided to remove her wings and change her story because she was like a fairy, and I didn't like that. So, now is a Dark Magician, and shoots fireball!

Just retopoed too, we're in the arc final of this journey, time to texture and render

UPDATE - The end of the journey

Yeah, I can't believe I just finished my 2nd PBR character following the standard full pipeline!
This is my first time in a contest and that was a very important opportunity for me, because I was in crisis for a long time,
I could not finish my personal work because they did not convince me, so I started to study the anatomy compulsively starting from the basics, it's not enough yet and I know, but with this contest I found the right motivation and the courage to finally finish a new project and publish it, interacting with a community. It's like a victory for me to have reached this goal, but it is only a starting point this, I conclude by thanking all those who wrote something about my project, thank you and good luck to everyone!

This is looking pretty tasty! Some more polish on this and it will really shine!

Are you going to do anything with the hands? They feel a little stiff to me, maybe moving her arms into a more dynamic pose would help?
