Hey cubebrush!

I'm joining the Sci-fi side of this fiesta simply because I've been on a hardsurface/mech binge, please don't bully me, I have my fair share of love for Legolas.

I knew that I didn't to make something along the lines of the usual sword wielding warrior nor a humanoid robot with a gun to try something new for this. Something like Rumble from League of Legends and Dva from Overwatch.

Thanks for this opportunity Marc, the judges are composed of talented artists, many who have inspired me, so that makes this competition even more grueling and tense but yet, beautiful (Danny LuVisi).

Fresh out of zSpheres with a few panels and shapes added to begin.

Im back to working on this :). I decided to change the upper shape of the mech because I didnt think the guns I wanted to be protruding from the back were working. I also added more details to keep a interesting silhouette to work of off. Will try to update more often.

Looks to be shaping up, is his head in the torso and it pops out? I feel like it would, either way pretty cool so far.
Perhaps make it asymmetrical with the weapons? just an idea, your choice, glad to see you updated after so long, hang in there.

Thanks man, yeah I do plan on adding more weapons still, I usually add asymmetry towards the end of the modelling process. The creature is still there haha, I will me adding a transparent material to the cockpit cutout
