Trying the upload one more time. The images I was submitting were coming in much darker and bluer than I had on my monitor. Also, the timer seemed to keep adding time to it? So I used that time to fix the colors.
Here is my final image for Amalthea!
She seems a bit bluer in the forums here, but oh well.
Her concept sheet:
And her closeups/detail sheet:
I do not have a Tpose for her, this was a pure sculpt. Wasted days attempting retopology.
Amalthea, one of the principle guardians of the "Spark" as she calls it. It is far more significant than that; it is the very spark of imagination, of creation essentially, that she helps to guard. Though she draws power from it and feeds into it, she bears a lightning scar near her flank as a reminder that the power of the imagination can be a dangerous thing and is not to be trifled with. Known for her jubilant and loud (but benevolent) nature, Amalthea welcomes those seeking refuge into the solitude of the fantasy realm, and tramples those that would destroy or invade it. Her blade is a construct of the "Spark", but she uses it mostly as a conduit to cast spells drawn from the Spark and her own energy.
On a personal note, this was my first large project. I had a blast, and a lot of frustration, but I'm very proud of her and I learned a LOT. What did and didn't work or go with the workflow, what programs can and can't do what and what my CPU can handle. I'm absolutely loving her now that she's done, and I hope everyone loves her just as much!
