I'm new here and this is the first challenge I've ever attempted so here it goes.
I'm choosing fantasy, because it's amazing, of course, and I'm choosing 3D as I'm trying very hard to learn zbrush and get better at it.

My character is Bowbi Seahammer. She's a young, quirky, blue-haired dwarf best known for her exquisite jewelry and craftsmanship, as well as her fierce temper and penchant for trouble and compromising situations.

I have a hard time keeping up with things and following them through, so hopefully this challenge and forum will keep me motivated through this project. <3

Great glad to see a new face also, i made a little guide to help with the organic building stages that might help (On my entry), no guarantee for sure as there are many ways to go about it.

I'll try to help if i can, though i recommend taking my C&C with a grain of salt and always go with your gut.

Anywho looking forward to updates when you make them.

I'm working on the base mesh for Bowbi. i took the standard man-mesh and built up from it. I think i've done better on this mesh than I have stylized projects I've recently done. I'm still working on the overall shape, especially the face.

I'l start concepting her clothing next.
I have ideas for a full-fledged dwarfish outfit, ready for battle. An elegant formal outfit, and an everyday getup for when she's working at her forge.

Front and back concept for Bowbi's elegant formal wear.
Her hair is NOT final, nor are the boots. They're proving difficult. Sandles and heels wouldn't fit right in dwarvish culture, so I'm working on various boots that have to hold the same elegance as her attire while remaining culturally true.
