So I think I'mma completely pitch the hip armor pieces, And I do need to change the back piece or get rid of it but I dunno what direction to go with it...x.x
Gettin' in some more details. Unsure if I should dynamesh the head and body together and then remesh and subdiv to take care of the seam and then detail or just merge and weld closer to the end and just smooth it out....
Detailing the face! Very fun.
looking great! love the face
Thank you so much.
I think the fur could be more distinct on the back, but yeah dude this is looking great
I completely agree. I'm actually going to be accentuating the fur with hair cards to give a lifted ridge of hair down the back as well as fluffy appearance down the front. Just wanTed to do the retopo first.
Well I think I'm done with the high poly. There are a lot more things I wanna do but if I take any more time on it I won't make the deadline. Lol. Especially since I'm super bad at retopo and uvs. Course I've only tried it once before so...it's to be expected.
Nice dude, maybe consider a star junction in the triangle in the gap between the deltoid, clavicle, and pectoralis? Either that or a box junction to bridge the gap in the top of the deltoid? Just food for thought.
Gosh thank you so much. I know next to nothing about this. It's my second model so I'm learning as i go. So your suggestion is super helpful.
Whoo, Prolly not gonna finish in time. BUT I'mma finish this guy anyway XD. Did some test texturing just to see if baking and such would work for me.
there's still time! I hope you can finish it, because it looks great so far!
Thank you. In gonna try to get him done. Just gotta work hard this week.
Don't give up man! I'm in the same boat, foolishly got distracted with deus vulting in For Honor and now I'm a little behind too, but if I can finish you can too >
Nice test!
@aveon Thanks man. Hopefully I can. Working on uv unwrapping right now. SO I may make it if I put my nose to the grindstone. Your piece is looking amazing! Very pretty. There are so many good pieces it's inspiring.
@jeebs Thanks so much. Your's is sweet. Love the hard surface work. Hopefully I can finish.
SLowly making progress. Having a few snags here and there with baking the cloth and got some corrections I'll need to make. But here is the low poly with most of the normals baked...x.x
