I've been busy the last two weeks but I'm working on this again.
I've think about the behind and i've decided to recover it of different sized scales continnuing the butterfly pattern.
For the cloth, I think about a soft and large fabric covering the behind.
A simple corset will cover the torso but leaving the back exposed to clear space for the wings.
I've been thinking about the shapes of the scales. I have various patterns but i'm not going to choose anyone at this moment.
I'm going to start as soon as I can with a low poly version made in 3ds Max and sculpting the base shapes in Zbrush.
My next step will be decide if is best paint the scales and place them or place them and then paint the whole model.
I think is easier to paint one scale and I will get more resolution but all scales will be the same. It could be more beautiful making color gradients and dirt.
Mmmmmm, I think the second is the best option. I'm going to make a type of each scale and place them. But I'm going to texture the whole model.
Maybe, in order to save time, I'm going to make simple scales and the patterns as mask to use it in substance.
