Getting a little lost at this point. I've been experimenting the past 5 or so days. I created High poly versions of the gloves and boots, and created some solid base meshes for the other components.
Hm... from a distance, the front presents to me the gauntlets, shoulder piece, breast plate and shin guards, everything else seems to be lost. I'm thinking that the addition of a zipper in the center for the sweater-esque piece will draw some attention to the center of the body (which is the area i'd like to emphasize with the intention of slimming the torso)
I'd like to add decoration to the fabric, but I'm not sure what i want those decorations to do for the viewer.
I feel the feet could use some extra layers visible from the front in order to add some visual noise that should bring some attention to them. Additionally the visual noise should assist the interlacing forms of the shin guards (much like the gloves seem to do with the gauntlets).
I think i will experiment pulling some shapes out around the waist without breaking the downward pull affect that is currently being assisted by the fabric loops
The breast plate should be edited to match the other armor piece styles.
The head piece needs defined but I think I will hold off on this until the very end.
etc...
Out of my head and into the 3D environment i go.
This is so challenging !!! thank you Cubebrush (and sponsors)!
Let me know what you think! Feedback of all kinds is much appreciated!
