yeah, a crown would suit him quite well. looks cool, like a boss!
too bad, that all the nice body sculpting is hidden beneath the hard surface
waiting to see, how you will solve the feet.

Awesome! Love the face, looks very dignified. Also great proportioning, the long fingers compliment the tall stature very well.
reminds me of the cloners from kamino (starwars)

Hardsurface armors coming along nicely, and great work on the sculpting on the body, especially the feel of the texture of the skin on muscle.

I think the feet work, perhaps the heels feel a little chunky, though its probably just the perspective.

Great work so far dude lovin th overall aesthetic dude. I thing the chunky heels work as there are bulbous parts of his body (finger tips)
Also his over tall lanky proportions he'd need big solid feet to stand up and keep balance.

Alright as an update, I changed the feet, and tweaked the fingers a bit. Gave him some nails. It gives him a different kind of feel and I like it so far. Also tried making the crown/headpiece. I think this one looks a bit too sinister for him, but I don't dislike it completely. Still have to play around with different shapes up there. I like some of the curves, but I might go for something a bit softer. I do want it to broaden his head silhouette though for sure. Also feet might have to be a tad less long >.<

the feet are much better this way. i don't know, but this could fit him somehow. the armor of the cryptionian/general zod (man of steel movie)

@maxloegler Guess the maleficent is pretty obvious :3 And oh my that is gorgeous! I agree, I might try something like that! Not the transparent layer, but the way it interacts with the suit, although maybe glass would be cool hmm Definitely will try it out! Thanks for the nice image hand't thought of this !

Also just editing this post as I did an update, added some other piece to the chest piece and made a different crown type. I tried the design in the picture Max, but it didn't quite work. Might give it another try later to see if I can make it work. I must say I don't dislike the aztec, maya kind of vibe I get from the crown. I will play around a bit more though.

Tried pushing more into this vein/direction. Cleaned up certain panels on the main hard surface part. Added "shoes" and something like gloves. Added some more shapes on some panels. Gonna probably change the "shoes" a bit more and then start creating actual geometry and brushes to get dirty with the hard surface Also used some of general zod's parts or ideas i liked :3

Also small update with values. Gonna start cleaning up the hard surface next. Quite satisfied with the look of him. I might have to design some extra piece for him to hold or stand on or well just something extra. Maybe a staff? No clue yet, but the pieces I have so far seem to work decently.

So I've been cleaning up since yesterday and made some IMM brushes to make this part easier. This is the final goal in terms of shapes I came up with. Might adjust the back cloth in length. Also the cloth will probably have some rugged edges and some ornaments on it. Still tbd.

The white parts are cleaned and I can/will still add some more intricacies later once I've cleaned everything up.
This is the cleaned up pieces so far separately
And last but not least here are some of the brushes I've made so far (still want to make another 5-7) Also these will mostly be used once I have all the main plates modelled to fill out spaces and create more detail.

Still cleaning up here and there. Making the plates is slightly time consuming, but I will soon be at the stage where my imm brushes kick in. Can't wait >..< Also might do the final pass on the body soon.

Managed to push the details in the skin a bit, did a test render to see how it looked with basic shaders. Needed a little break from all the hard surface stuff, gonna do this amount of detail on the other seen skin parts. Saves me a little time to not do this on unseen parts.
@maxloegler Also thanks man :3 I'll post the hard surface stuff once I do exactly that, already have my brushes done. And about the feet, do you know exactly what is bothering you there? I really have to fix it now haha, I think I still have to fix the connection to the leg a bit, but maybe you see something else :3

My brushes are kicking in now yay! 1-2 days and I should have the armor done. I think I might go with sculpting some pieces on the dark suit thing you see. Just a short update to show some final skin and the brushes starting to do work.

@fantasymaster Thank you! It's Marmoset Toolbag 3, just slapped the high poly in there and played with the skin settings etc.. Not very refined, but imo it's decent enough for a quick test.

Nice update. I think the cables around the chest are a bit to chaotic. Otherwise great.
