I was having trouble debating between doing 2D or 3D as my 3D skills aren't that strong, but hey this is the prefect way to make them stronger! The easy choice was choosing the fantasy topic.

My Guardian of Atlantis isn't going to be a typically merfolk, I wanted to try something different. I have some sketches I'll upload over the next few days as I refine the character more, as showing you what I'm going for will be a lot easier than trying to describe my thought process.

I'm very excited to enter this contest and to see how far I can go with my skill level.

Working on the face atm...tweaked the body a bit and doing more research on the jelly fish part.
