Hi there! I'm going for something based on the libra zodiac. Some keywords that were clear from the beginning:
- Keeper of balance
- Not good / not evil
- Unidentifiable
- Feminine

After some brainstorming, I came up with two drastically different ideas, which both follow all of these keywords. So I sketched them out really quickly.

In my mind, the nature inspired one was better. But after sketching them out, I like the second one way more. The nature one is kind of generic.
While with the second one, I'm going for a feminine look, but without any skin showing. I want to keep the keyword "unidentifiable", so everything including the face will be covered with armor. I will probably add a weapon, but that will get there once I start working on a more defined concept.

The current sketch is just to get the idea of the character across. All the armorpieces still have to be designed. (I will try not to make the shoulderplates as generic as they are in the rough sketch for example hehe)

love both of them, though the left seems more original i still kinda lean towards the right one.

Thanks guys! Went with the second one and explored it some more.

I'm liking the first one, but it's maybe a bit too standard. For the second one, I kinda like it, but it's too "good" looking. It should be more neutral. The third one seems to work the best for me. It looks a bit ancient and it helps the mysteriousness factor I think. It probably has the best silhouette of the three aswell. I'll play with the proportions and everything in 3D.
Would love to hear some thoughts! Cheers

Hi! I love your design and based on the silhouettes I would say that the middle design is the most feminine looking and I like that it's cleaner than the first design. The last design, on the right, looks a little muddy in terms of the silhouette. Awesome work so far though!

great work mate!! I kinda like the left character from this concept art...

Its late to say this n i do apologizes. But i just thought of putting forward my opinion too ! I felt like the right one was more mecha kinda (its just my opinion ) any way looking forward for more updates!!

I didn't like how "good" the second one looked, since she should not be good and not be evil. So I combined some elements from 1 and 2 and pushed the Libra / Balance theme a bit to come up with this:

Pretty happy with this one! For the weapons, I think I will go for a small scythe in one hand and a book in the other

Yeah good to see a familiar face in the competition man. You´re well on your way too, looking great already! And you´re fast as usual haha. From the thumbnail it looks as if the character has a really big helmet, instead of having the fur coming out on the back. Did you try how she looks with a really big juggernaut-like helmet? Might be cool. Anyways, good luck man! Will be looking forward to regularly check on your updates.

Thanks everyone! Here are some weapon sketches. Decided to go with a sword and a book in the end, since it fits the libra theme better.

I wasn't 100% happy with the design I had, so I talked to some concept artist friends and decided to start over. I think the design I had was good-ish, but just not recognizable at all. Some of them pointed out to me that I should be able to recognize her just by seeing the silhouette from a distance, which was not the case. So here comes, Libra, V2! Hehe
Much happier with this design.

A good concept is everything! I was thinking to redesign mine as well
The sword does not fit the more skinny body, I think. A staff or scepter will do.

I like how you are pushing the design to the extreme! Looks VERY cool!
