Hi everybody, I know it’s a little bit late to start the competition, but I prefer things when they get harder.
First of all, before you have a look at the project, I would like to tell the story, so in that way you can understand the profound meaning of all.
Mama is the first “pregnant” robot created by the famous and rich scientific, Ryan Borro, who decided to create it after the death of his beloved wife, who died in childbirth.
Ryan didn’t want her little daughter to live without her mother, that’s why he created “Mama”, a childlike way to say “Mamá”, that in Spanish means “Mother”. He chose this name, as her wife speaks Spanish.
Mama is a robot that only comes back to life when Linda, Ryan’s daughter, is inside in the capsule that is situated in the half of the body.
I don’t consider myself a 2d person, so I made these sketches to get a rough idea. In ZBrush I’m going to combine the best of each concept. I am open to all your suggestions, don’t hesitate to comment what you think.
