Im affraid I don't have any concept sheet cause I took my inspiration from films and games I have played/ watched and tried to remember the most important parts of what made the character interesting and believe able. The character was made more for practise and fun rather then competing with, but I thought it could be fun to upload it anyway and perhaps get some feedback. I am very new to character design/ zbrush. What I wanted to create was a character with both pretty hard and soft surfaces to create a contrast. I wanted the character to look more robot then human rather then how cyborgs are usually portrayed in media but I still wanted it to look like it was born completely human. So I decided to make the head completely machine and keep the body mostly human. I also wanted the character to seem like it could blend in with a crowd, so I gave it ordinary clothes for our time that can be used to cover most off the body if the character so wished.
I started with making a very rough shape for the character in zbrush to see what shapes could be interesting but still blend well.
I then made a low poly version using Topogun 2.
Once that was done I unwrapped and layed out the uvs of the character in two seperate maps one for the head and one for the body.
I then baked the normal, ao and curvature maps in marmoset toolbag 3 ( I love it's baker ) and the proceeded to texture it in substance painter 2. Once that was done I made a basic rig for it.
Then I made it stand casually and I rendered a few shoots of it marmoset toolbag 3.
And then it was done.
