Updated with Images: trying to figure out general proportions and shapes, as my original idea of an agile sci-fi knight contradicts Diamond Weapon's general stature (it's a great lumbering and stocky beast, where I envisioned my character to be more zipping around like a dragoon, with the same might and power of Diamond Weapon.
Design Ideas (noticed other people doing this, might help me along):
-- Agile, yet mighty
-- Overwhelming in its offense and defense
-- Influenced by Final Fantasy (the curves, the detail, the ornate shapes)
-- Tech heavy in function (use of "digital" weapon, nano probes for defense, etc).
-- Dragoon/Knight mix.
Lore: Sci-fi weapon/knight designed as a counter to fantasy creations of destruction. For any fans of Final Fantasy, think of a mechanized equivalent to Diamond Weapon, that's the direction I'm thinking. It's nanites absorb any magic spell cast and converts it into energy to fuel the "Knight's" weapon, while also nullifying any spells a mage would cast on their allies.
