ART WAR | 3D | Stark, Bane of the Cosmos | JCG

Hello friends!!

This is my thread for the ART WAR 3D Character. My plan is to create a massive humanoid (alien like, robot ish, sentient like) being, bigger than space galaxies, floating in space, destroying entire galaxies. It can create black holes and other awesome cosmic energy stuff to destroy galaxies hehehehe!

But I'm not yet sure if is it sci fi or fantasy.

So here's my mood board. I'm still in the designing stage right now.

Practicing making nebulas in blender

I'm using an old notebook during the designing stages (hehe, I hate screens).

So I started planning the head.

I wanted his head to not look plain, so I added some horns

While designing his head, I had a difficult time designing his mouth
...so I removed it
I also replaced his eyes with a single cyclops eye in his forehead to make him look alien-ish or mysterious

Next is the rest of his body.
During this stage, I'm not yet paying that much attention to his hands and feet.

At first, I wanted his body to look like a suit or something high tech
but then I decided it to look alienish, something not from Earth.

So first, I drew a the body, next is I look for some ways to improve it, then drew another one with improvisations, then I repeat it until I found something I like.
(I moved on to some bond papers)

During this stage, I wanted to make his body hollow (inside it will be pure energy ) to make him look legendary or celestial

Here is a "semi final" Design
The arms look weird at the moment, but it's gonna look something like it.

So I decided not to make a digitalized final design because it would be time consuming for me.
After watching some anatomy tutorials, I tweaked my previous design.
Here's another design for my Character

I wanted him to look like some super massive space structure, so I added some space stations on some parts of the body.

I will now move on to 3D modelling in Blender. The design a bit will change along the way.

I will be modeling the body parts separately.

Update:
So my plan is to first make a human base mesh
Turn it into a human with muscle system well defined
Then start modelling the Champion with the human muscle anatomy as a guide
since my Champion has its muscle parts obvious

Don't worry, I will make it better ... hopefully

I had limited time with my computer so my progress is pretty slow hehe

Update:
So I decided to redesign the head since the current design looks robot ish, has no character in it, in my opinion.

While working on my character, I was searching over the net for some alien ish and sci fi stuff, then I heard about this Fluorite crystals, and Bismuth crystals, they look cool so I applied them in my design

The segment things in my character will look like Fluorite crystals while the current armor will just look plain crystals.

I think my character will have another layer of armor of Bismuth crystals.

It may be difficult to imagine it, but ..... lets see
I'm also working on the shaders

Update:

I managed to rig 95% of the character in 1 day.

Moving on to the Head then to the Bismuth Armor, then finish the rig.
Next, I'm going to create the space scene with black holes, or one, some nebulae
some cosmic explosionss and many more spacey stuff

At first, I'm not sure whether to choose sci fi or fantasy, but I'm gonna join Sci Fi
All work will be done in Blender and in GIMP

Update:

After watching some old tutorials, I redesigned and improved my current design.
First is the armor, I tried making the bismuth armor, but it looked too crowded, hehe
so I threw the idea away.

Next is I redesigned the head.

I gave him eyes

I'm almost finish!!

Here's a quick and noisy render of my current progress.

Still many things left to do.
Soon moving on to space rocks, maybe some nebulae and a black hole.
I hope my potato can render the final image hehe.
