Tau, The Crimson Mercenary, enters the battlefield.

From the beginning I wanted my character to be a futuristic/sci-fi soldier. He would be lightly armored with a military vest. He'd also be equipped with a weapon of my own design, an SMG. Also, he'll be accessorized with some knifes, grenades, etc.. Tau, as you can see from the concept sheet, will be an African male. Mostly, because for sometime know I've wanted to do a character with A$AP Rocky's hair. He'll have the facial structure of actor Djimon Hounsou, with a skinny yet muscular body.

This is what I first ended up with in my concepting phase.

At this point I hadn't worked on the hair yet. I also didn't know whether I should have added some shoulder armor or not.
The legs were stumping me at this point, hadn't decided if I wanted them both to be prosthetics or if only would should be. I also didn't know if I wanted to create shoes or boots for the feet.

Since my update last I've managed to finish some of the accessories, some grenades and a weapon.

All three were made and renedered in Fusion 360. I started with some rough silhouettes in photoshop. Once, I found a silhouette I liked I moved onto Fusion. The smg was the first one I modeled and was the most challenging since it was the first time I was using Fusion. The modeling was fairly quick and easy.

Update time. After, some iterations for the armor I finished design. For the pants and the legs I've already started adding details. Hopefully I can start texturing some time this week.

Congrats on finishing.
There is some nice modeling, but the final image is a bit flat. You could have use a more constrasted lighting to make those metals part shine more.
