Hey ! My first post here, my entry will be on the fantasy side!

I'm ambitious on this one, i will have to work hard, i have one main character, plus 2 side characters, plus little creatures around. The goal is to make a nice composition with all of it.

I made a very rought sketch of my idea, but i won't be able to really start before january. Until then, maybe more sketches See you all on the forum!!

My first try at sketching what i had in mind! Well... it's clearly a mess for now. I will have to make it more "readable"

Hey so i scaled down the two secondary captains, the central one is more visible. I also scaled down the feathers, so it's less confuse. I will have to make them different (costumes, colors) so that we can read the scene easily. I'm also not sure about my little crab anymore. He's funny, but too little.. And the eel doesn't have any instrument yet.. what could she be using! with no arms

I'm back , i'm now focusing on the main character. I saw many great characters taking form here, and i will have to push this one far!

Thanks yeah i know, it's ambitious, in fact i think i will only do the main character for the challenge, and i'll do the other parts after!

Oh man yeah, you weren't kidding about ambition haha. Gonna be interested to see where this goes, but is the "1 entry per-person" rule gonna affect this though? I hope not

Yeah, as I said earlier, i will only do the main character for my entry. But after, i really want to do a 3-piece figurine!

i'm going to think about this "singing fishs" idea. For now, they look more like they were just dead, with mouth open .
Either way, i think i'm almost done with my concept , and i will start the REAL modeling this week

Phase 2 has begun ! i'm now separating objects. The aspect of the objects isn't clear yet, i will have to refine them after. The cloth is temporary ( for example, i will give the boots a more "leather - like" feel) ,for now it's all raw Marvelous
