ART WAR | 3D | The Truck | kaze001

Hi!
I'm taking the sci-fi side of the contest! This is my first post here, so I appreciate any critics about the format of my posts as well! I wont have much time till february, but I'll start now anyway!
So:
The Truck! In the near Future after some intense conflicts, several tribes rule the American continent. The Truck is the warchief, and prophet of his tribe, who promised that he will lead his people back to the favour of the old gods: Santa, Yoda, and the allmighty oil. He is a fierce keeper of the old ways. The Truck was a gene-modified soldier with insane power and durability. Some say he has gone mad during the wars, he said he had a vision. He tore his very arms off as a tribute and with the help of a scientist he kindnapped replaced them with biomechanical-hotrods, as he calls them. From that on, Lt. Jenkins became The Truck!
He also gets andry if someone by mistake or by lack of respect calls him just Truck. Final images at the bottom.

I've made the basic rough blockout of the body and the trousers, the rest will be blocked out in Maya. Didn't put any attention on the head, feet and hands, as they will be replaced.

Still not having much free time, but I managed to make the blockout for the non-organic parts, made some changes to the helm.

Some updates on the highpoly, still a lot to do, and still so little free time.

Hi! The highpoly is kind of done, rest of the normal details will come in the texturing phase! Next update in february.

Textured the lowpolly, will do some fixes, and scratches, than it will be posing, and 3d wiev setup.

fixed some issues, made changes in coloration, and some more detail.

wireframe, its 39k polys, optimised for online games.

Could have welded more edges, to save a couple of thousand poly, for moba-like game optimising, but it's for imagery purposes this time:):
