When I woke up this morning I didn't like the previous version at all, so today I decide to restart from scratch!

There is one little problem with new version, it's hard to understand where the water is coming from (even if we saw the waterfall on the back).

Or maybe that's just me.

Ooooo I really like this new direction, much more action and flow!
But yes, along with what @mr_dessin said, at first I kind of thought that was wind, but that could probably be solved by just the rendering eventually. Maybe making the bottom of the waterfall in the background float just a little bit or something to imply the water is coming from there?
Anyways, really hope you have time to finish! This looks super cool

I like the waterfall in the background. It makes the composition tilt instantly readable. I've a soft spot for giant monsters and love this idea.

You could push back the waterfall with volumetric noise or painting in some desaturated colors if you're worried about the big waterfall shape intersecting the snake. Maybe some falling mist to cut the sharp rectangle shape. I forgot what it's called, maybe tangent or intersecting lines. Still looks great though!

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about, my dude! Attack snake is so much more dynamic! I kinda wanna see the snake's head coming in at more of a 3/4 angle though. Regardless, this looks great, keep it up!
