Here's today's progress, refined the lighting, tried to get the head properly, don't know if it's good but I like it so it's fine! Still a lot of work to do on this but it's going great I feel!

Damn this is crazy good dude wow! The detail and shapes on that snake head is so cool too, so different! You could still even zoom in a little to get in on the action as you can get away with cropping a lot of that unnecessary detail. Really really good progress though O8

Oh wow, the last version is so cool and dynamic. I like that the big snake instantly pops from the background so it reads immediately.
If you want some advice I'd say that the canvas cutting the sides of the snake are working as little bit as tangents, maybe you should try either fitting the sides of the snake into the canvas, or extending the snake more to the side, so the canvas is not just cutting just a little.
I like the idea of the eyes as well, but they are tricking my mind into thinking that are two fron eyes into a side face, so maybe rising the second/bigger eye woulds solve that.

That head really came through! Really digging the texture and shapes you got on it! That bottom jaw feels like its in a different perspective than the top. Simple geometric blocks can help. This is coming together really well though!

Oh that's my bad, English isn't my main language, sorry. I wanted to say that the eyes gives the slight impression of a face seen from the front view, although we are looking the snake's face from the side. So I suggest that if you try rising the the eye that is further back, may solve thye issue. (I hope it is clearer now).
