Four different concepts for the lightning warrior. I'm going for a robot/mechanical warrior who enhances his weapons with electricity.
Welcome to the war and good luck to you too! I am loving the sketches so far. I kind of like sketches 3 and 4. 
Went ahead with number 2. Changed the sword into a "spear" sort of weapon. The generator on his right arm creates electricity which he emits from his palm to the conductor on the tip of the Bolt spear, thus electrifying it.
Really like your robotic design👌🏻
Two quick compositions for now. Haven't decided what route I'll go with, open to suggestions and feedback also.

Nice design ! I really love these type of robots, really aesthetic. Maybe you need to think a bit about your character, its place on the battlefield, what it's supposed to do etc. It would be easier to pick up a nice composition after that !
19 days later
Here's is the final piece. I've been super busy the last two weeks but I just managed to make it in time! Decided to use pose on the second image. Added two other Automatons to the background for scale. I'm pretty happy how it turned out! It was fun design challenge and competition. Thank you and good luck for everyone!
