Revamped my design a bit!
Trying to flesh out some of the designs of my main character, wanting wood and vines to be his armor but also be apart of him.

Playing around with some rough value and lighting, which one do y’all like more?
Definitely the bottom value sketch. It has better contrast compared to the first, and the darker values will make his magic hand dug in the ground stand out more. Can't wait to see it in colour. ^^
Oh First I was thinking those are two different steps of the same painting. So I'd definitely go with the bottom one, it's really stronger !And damn you concept look cool
