Hey your project is cool !Perhaps you should paint using more references, painting really what you see. For now my favourite is the lava lava girl so far. It would be awesome to see the flow of the lava inside of your character

I think this concept is good for showing her forms more clearly, but also I think it’s a little bit to much. What do you think? But I like the pure magma hands
Following the transclucent design more but making it like a thin layer of liquid fire, where you can make out just a little bit of her insides
