Hi everyone! I started to work on concept some time ago, but haven't posted it for no reason. The time is running out so now or never

The idea was of making some gremlin-goblin styled creature using fire magic. First sketches were pretty fantasy-standart and kind of boring.
Then as i rewatched Haul's Moving Castle i decided to add more of steampunk\magickpunk feeling from this masterpiece to my own work. Also i memorised some steampunk-magic references from Arcanum and WoW.
The next step was to add large steampunk robots
And then the idea became clear. Fire gremlins tame and control spirits of fire. They use their power along with self-contructed grotscue weapons and machines to control the element of fire and use it for their needs. For example to take part in the War of Elements So in terms of design this is the final sketch of character i guess. The next step is to make a composition sketch for an illustration. Stay tuned
Nice shapes on the the flamy hair, I like the character
i loooooooooooove these
Very interesting idea! And great style!
@tbrk Thank you!@tck Thanks a lot @rgdraw Thank you
Ahhh so cool !!!I don't know why but the 5th robot is calling me (bottom line 2nd row).Maybe because it's pretty unique.
Which one (robot) have you decided to take with your character ?Or still want to dig more into concepts ?
You're welcome! Keep up the amazing work!
Amazing concept and style! Looking forward to more
@mr_dessin Thanks a lot! Maybe 5th one stands out with sillouette but totally loses in usability as a battle robot I'd like to develop concept more but there's no time now so maybe after the chellenge. Guess i'll use second (top middle) because of its simplicity and big mass. It'll work well together with smaller and rather complicated sillouette of character.@benguldemond Thank you!
I really love your character! He has so much personnality already.
I look forward to see the illustration
Decided to try some colors before diving into final step. Good thing about it is that theese schemes can be used not only for character but for whole illustration (with background, details etc.) Which one is better?
And also ended up some props research. May be useful for composition needs.
@cedricgo Thank you very much! Hope i can finish in time
Wow, that's a tough one. I really like all three of them to be honest.
Sorry that's not really helpful
My favorite is the middle color scheme
Amazing work!! All three designs are great! I think the blue one would work great it's less "classic" and gives a bit of contrast with all the warm colors!
Thank everyone! Don't really sure that i'll finish it in time but i work on illustration. Here is composition\tone sketches.
