Thought I might just concentrate on the main character before getting excited about the rest of the composition.

Definitely time for a break...…….

Okydoky. So I roughed out the environment. Seems to work. Lighting is going to be interesting with a lamp on the wall behind the goblin, a light in the foreground to the left (off camera), a truck fire at the back and maybe a couple of residual fires around the busted barrier...so best I make it night  . Now to work on a another character firing down the alley to the right. If I am completely off please let me know as this is the only art I have done since Art War 3 and that was the first I had done in quite a few years.

Mmmm. So here I am at the pre-xmas pause point. I have added the second character. The other characters from my stake in the sand are irrelevant now as I have settled on an alleyway scene. I have to say I am fairly happy with the composition noting that the details aren't there yet. I need to spend some time working out how to do clean lines and paint or is it just paint? Thanks for stopping by...laters…

Ooooops. I realised I needed to move the second character so I can have a discharge from the lever action rifle. In other words I want the current position to be the kick back just after the shot. I should also add I am leaving everything fairly transparent so you can see how I have built it up and to make it easier to respond to any feedback. Been a blast so far. BTW if anyone has any good youtube links for painting that would be very much appreciated. Laters...again....

ok...back at it. Roughed in the background. At least enough for me to ignore it for a while and work out the secondary light source.

Wow, you have done so much already

I like the pose of your main character and feel of the piece.
Waiting to see more!
