I'm starting off with some silhouette sketches.
Moonstruck is going to fight at the water front, so their design is going to be aquatic themed, of course.
The idea is to give them a cowboy-esque vibe. Their main weapon is going to be shooting water bullets out of a gun or similar props.
Basically a water cowboy.

Wow, what a Moodboard.
As you can see there's a lot of cowboys and waves. Their outfit is going to be a (hopefully) perfect mix of both

Let's get to the interesting part.
After some consideration I decided to put down a basic design for Moonstruck and work off of that. The face and details are of course not set in stone yet, but I wanted to have a slight idea of what I'm aiming to design, this is my progress so far!

To be completely honest, I'm not really satisfied with these. That's why I'm going to spend a little more time on finding a good colorsheme. Though I like their markings and I think I'm gonna stick with that

A water cowboy is a pretty neat idea.
I would prefer the first colour scheme, it is a bit 'traditional' but I think it would help to underline the water element.

That's a great start.
Water cowboy is a great idea ! I love the water hat and the ears with the eye like pattern. Great inspiration in the clothes as well !
But yes the color sheme is a bit off. I guess the color balance and the separation between the elements is good on the top left.

I really really like the big ears and skin (?) at the head which look like wings.
Really fun design and Idea!

I agree with the others however, maybe try some other blues for your scheme? (

I finally decided on a color palette and I'm really pleased with it. The shades of blue complement their skin well and I'm going to push it even more with the light and shading in the final image. I also did some face anatomy studies, they're just gorgeous in my eyes.
Next up will be weapon design and thumbnailing, wish me luck!
