These were some sketches I started a few days ago! The core of the design were the big horns obscuring some of her vision. Fire is a bit more narrow in it's goals and focus, so I wanted to reflect that in some sort of integral structure on the character.

Otherwise I'm just messing around with different bodies lol

Another update! I got a general silhouette I'm digging, and now i'm just messing around with those dumb facial features. I'm really digging the stacks on stacks on STACKS of horns at the end :eyes: I think i'm pretty close to a final silhouette

HAHAHA HERE ARE SOME UPDATES

I started with this sketch here to work on like, personality here --

then I got great feedback from a friend, and moved on with some design changes --

and I had a hard time vibing with this particular sketch so i just doodled in the corner

I'm still gonna mess with some like, cracking and lava flow/spill designs, but this is essentially it >:smiley:
