Loved the idea of the sombrero! My favorite one is number three, at first I thought that the babies on top of her head are making fun of the one that can't climb, and I thought it was really funny!

Maybe try on a different blue ? Or lots of blue variants (also sparks of green and yellow (maybe pink : 3 )) too ?
Or else it fused too much with the water on bottom, maybe?

I think it's a good idea, but I can't make it good 
Oh it's not incredibly clear her hair is water, I just thought it was a shade of blue. If you want it to look like water though I would recommend looking up some ref and incorporating that more into the painting, adding more reflection and refraction, darker areas and a little bit of translucency so you see the skin through it
