Hi there,
For this Art War I am trying to create an interesting water creature design and I would love to hear your thoughts about the concepts that I have come up with so far.

WOW... those designs are epic!! The colors are so vibrant, and they've got really good shape balance and value/saturation variance. As a member of team fire, I've got my eye on you...

I really like all of those designs. It's hard to chose, but I think I enjoy number 1 and 2 a bit more than the others.

I really like all of them but my favorites are 2 and 4.

I like the first one best. Would make really instresting design if you decide to go with it. Wont be easy tho

Thank you all so much for commenting!
After thinking about it I couldn't reach a conclusion so I decieded to develope the designs of 2, 4 and maybe even 1 to be able to compare the designs better.

So here is a updated Version of number 2
I'd appreciate to hear your opinions!

that's absolutely beautiful :3 i love the colors and the flow

Here is the other design I worked on.
Although I feel like this one isn't as strong as the other one I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I like both but also feel that the previous one would be better in the end.

@serovero thank you for your comment!

Right now I am in the first stages of my final illustration. Here is the progress I have made so far. Right now I only layed in the flat colors and tried to have a cohesive flow and composition. If any of you have any suggestions on how to improve the picture I'd love to hear them.

So before I upload the final image I'm gonna go over some of the details of my character.

As you can hopefully tell, this creature is a special sort of jellyfish. Since jellys have been around for roughly 600 million years they have evolved and survived for a reason.
Mainly because of their biggest weapon: Poison
The poison is stored inside their tentacles and the moment these tentacles touch a prey, the toxin gets injected into the bloodsystem and kills the victim. Depending on what the jellyfish is hunting it posses different kinds of tentacles.

The deep sea has always been a mystery to mankind but as technology developes humanity is able to progress farther and farther into the wonders of the ocean. Something they weren't able to predict though was that jellyfish, animals that don't have a brain or even a spine evolved in a scarily similar diraction as humans did. This special sort is even able to think.

Although usually peaceful, these special jellys are absolutely dangerous because of their deadly venom and the nearly undestroyable nature of their, mostly of water consisting, bodys.

They can reach unrecorded dimensions due to their eating habits (An extremely fast digestive system which is also of protective nature, so that the prey can't destroy the jelly from the inside while it is digesting). The in the Illustration depicted sample is deffenitely one of the smallest ones, since these have been unrivaled predetors in the sea with an extremely long livespan. But because of the few food that can be found on the bottom of the ocean these jellyfish eat everything (including humans).

So this is some Information about this water creature, I hope you liked it and I wish everyone the best of luck and a lot of fun for this competition.

(By the way I'm really sorry for my bad english)
