Starting to thinking some key elements for my character and finding some references.
Key elements: Demon, fire, horns, tail, animal legs, hell creature, fantasy-medieval, magic, strong, warrior, light armor, chains, merciless, mascot.
For the conceptual stage, I make some thumbnails to find interesting shapes based in my key elements previously defined. Like K option.
I have continued working on K option and define more details.

Nice looks like a lot of work ahead, hope to see it finished, thanks for stopping by, keep going, also that pose in the black silhouettes the letter J one stands out to me as a back view attack with him swiping or calling the dog to attack, like go get'em, but viewed from the back of the character. Maybe a good final pose? idk just what stood out to me.
Thank you @3dc ! I agree with your comment on the silhouette J. I will plan to play with the model to find a final pose with more action.
I have continued playing with the color on the character concept. I have also added the fire emblem on the belt and a little story to have fun. With this I have a clear idea and I can start modeling. Maybe make some changes and details later on the model.
