I hope to show the whole process and have time with this project, I have thought about the element of earth/forest and making a guardian with influences from the lord of the rings, the Ents and others refs. I would like to get a design between fantasy and realism, for now I leave here my first references, an early concept and soon a first blocking. I have included environments concept art as help to me get into context

I have the design almost done in my mind, I will surely make several modifications along the way, basic shapes, proportions, weapons, choose where the element emblem will go...

Looking for references I stopped in the design of the giants of Skyrim, since the first time I played it the giants always seemed captivating to me. Territorial guardians, protectors of their mammoth herds and with a mystical union to the land and nature. Jonah Lobe (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/r8WYE) was in charge of making the model and referred from his own father and to the work of the great Adam Adamowicz. I really like the description he has of the giant in his artstation profile: ''The Skyrim Giant was meant to convey a profound feeling of oldness, of a long life lived in the sun. I wanted players to feel like children again, small, in awe of the largeness of our parents as they moved around the house. " I would like to have some of all that magic in my model, I am thinking of the pose, with the stick resting on the shoulder and walking.
