Hi, I'm Charlotte Searson (katt-kitt). Super excited about this years ArtWar! Made a Cook who has the affinity for Earth to help her grow and raise things she needs for feeding her clan.

I have a rough idea of what i'll be making for this years art war. I'll be making a Dryad Earth Mage.

This design is just a super rough idea that I'll use as a guide. I want to use leather, cotton and a few natural materials like leaves and tree bark. Now i've got this rough sketch, i'll be making it 3D just to see how it looks so I can add or take things away to get a design I'm happy with.

Got a base for the deer part of the character. I've made a few changes to the hooves and made them bigger than a normal female deer, as well as made the legs a little ticker than they usually are.

Got a rough base from the sketch I made, Decided to add some armour to her, to give her more protection, which i'll be adding a leafy pattern too, simular to the leave that will be on her upper half.

I do want to add a large book to her side and little baggies for poitions and herbs too.

Worked on the face a little, trying to make a different face than the usual same face I make, so hopefully she will come out differently.

I'll be learning how to create facial rigs with this character so i still need to make a tongue and teeth.

Have this so far, I'm thinking of putting some little baggies on there and some more leafy/nature stuff too. Small thin vines hanging off her antlears and possibly woven into her hair. I'll be putting a leafy pattern on the metal areas and giving them some wear and tear.

I've made an IM brush to add some curls to her hair once I get to that part later, which i'll be going for wavey/ curly hair that looks slightly wild.

I need to make a leaf IM too to get a style I want.

Taken i slightly different direction with this one, I was going to have her as an earth mage, but, I kept hitting a wall with it so I went back to the drawing board and came up with this idea.

A herbalist/gardener/cook that has imense skills with growing plant life and then cooking them . I'll be making a lot of cooking utensials and jars or spices and things simular to hang off of her back and then, as she'll be on the attacking side, a big knife she uses for her cooking.

I'm gonna go with a simple design on her in terms of outfit items, but I hope to really push my textures on this one.

Working on retopo right now just to get some clean bakes on the lowpoly. Working on the body here, but have done most of the accessories.

Got the low poly done on this one. I'm deep in baking right now so next is rigging and textures and then some posing and lighting

Got most of the textures done on this. I do want to do a dark skin tone for her human half but i'm not entirely sure if I want to do that or a more unatural colour, like a purple or redish colour.

Super wip pose i'm working on. I've only done a really basic rig on this so some of the joints arent moving the way i wanted, so i've had to go for a different version on the pose that i originally wanted.

Finished this up this week! I'm super happy with how she came out in the end. Still need to improve a few things but that will be on the next one!
